  • Founder

    As the founder of Zubaida Foundation, Syed Murtuza is lovingly referred to by the community as Murtuza Uncle.  He is actively involved in many of the Foundation's activities, especially events related to inter-faith and charity at Zubaida Foundation.  He is the CEO of PDC Machines and an ameer at various other mosques in the area.

    Dr. Abdul Qadeer, is among the founding community members involved in establishing Masjid Zubaida Foundation.  He served as board member for several years before switching to volunteer role in recent years. 
    Dr. Qadeer was born and raised in Kuwait and moved to Karachi Pakistan to pursue his carrier in Medicine. Graduated from Dow Medical College and moved to the US in 1992. He manages pathology and clinical Laboratories in Hamilton NJ. He is the managing director of a Clinical Diagnostics lab.

  • Charity and Outreach

    Mateen's passion and purpose have guided him toward the service and stewardship of his family foundation. Grounded in a commitment to faith and family, he is dedicated to the foundation's mission of fostering partnerships that uplift and empower individuals to create positive change. The foundation aims to build systems and ecosystems that break cycles of inequality, offering hope, resilience, and a sustainable model for current and future generations. Mateen brings eighteen years of business and leadership experience from the family manufacturing business to the non-profit sector, where he has served in advisory and board roles for numerous organizations. He recently earned a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership and Strategic Management from Penn State University, as well as a certification in High Impact Philanthropy from the University of Pennsylvania.
