The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated:
"It will be said to the companion of the Qur'an:
'Rise and ascend the ranks of Paradise,
And recite with calmness, as you once recited with grace,
For your station shall end at the last verse you embrace.'"

Policies
Attendance is the #1 priority.
Attendance means being present at all assigned classes and activities. Missing even a single day of Hifdh can be a major setback. Punctuality is equally critical.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring regular and timely attendance. Absences and lateness impact the individual student and disrupt the class environment.
Excused Absences:
- Verified medical illness or injury
- Death or critical illness of an immediate family member
- Major weather disruption or accident
- Official court attendance (with documentation)
- School-assigned events
- Contagious disease or symptoms requiring quarantine
Unexcused Absences:
- Travel for Umrah or visiting relatives
- Vacations or extended trips without prior approval
- Events not assigned by the school
- Illness without a doctor’s note
- No explanation provided
Students with 15+ unexcused absences may be disqualified from continuing in the program the following year.
Tardiness means arriving after the designated start time.
Unexcused tardies may lead to disciplinary action. Repeated tardiness, even if excused, may also result in intervention.
Tardy Consequences Per Term:
- 3rd Tardy or 1 Unexcused Absence: Detention: Students will be assigned a 2hr detention period
Students arriving an hour late without prior notice will be sent home. Remote students will not be allowed to join class late.
The sunnah of the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam is the most important part of our lives, and the same goes for the uniform policy at IAHA. The uniform must be in conformity with the rules and guidelines laid down by Allah Ta`ala and His blessed prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam.
Required Uniform:
- Full sleeve blue jubbah/thobe, qamees, or shalwar kameez
- White topi (kufi) without a visor
- Pants must remain above the ankles
Accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, or headbands are not permitted. Only watches are allowed.
If you need to pick up your child early, please inform us before school starts by email hifdh@zubaidafoundation.com
In emergencies, communication after class begins is also acceptable.
